Can not seed torrents, however the port is open

0

I managed to open the port, which I am using in Transmission and QBitTorrent. I open the port with the following command : sudo iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport PORT_NUMBER -j ACCEPT, then I checked the port in Transmission, and it is says that the port is open, but the seeding is not happening. [https://i.stack.imgur.com/02NlH.png]
I also allowed the port in the firewall, and then I checked it with iptables -L and I got the following
ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere tcp dpt:9000 ctstate NEW
ACCEPT udp -- anywhere anywhere udp dpt:9000 ctstate NEW

Oh and I forgot to add, then when I am using Windows with the same machine, there is no problem, so I do not really think that I have to use port forwarding on my router.
Can someone please help me to solve my problem permanently? :(
Thank You!
