Problem with Nvidia Driver proprietary
I have 2 graphic cards intel and Nvidia in my laptop
I've recently installed ubuntu and tried to install nvidia driver from update tools on ubuntu ( in the additional tab I've chosen Nvidia proprietary ) and after I've done this and restarted my computer , my mouse (touchpad and usb mouse ) hasn't worked smoothly and also my browsers (chrome and firefox both) haven't worked smoothly either(while scrolling web pages)
But when I choose X.org X server driver the problem was solved
The big problem is after this , when vlc player wants to play a movie , although I use VDPAU in Hardware-accelerated decoding , VLC give me an error says "cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
which as far as I know , it means it doesn't use Nvidia for decoding
I put the whole output massage blow
VLC media player 3.0.6 Vetinari (revision 3.0.6-0-g5803e85)

If anyone can help me , I will be really appreciated

when I use my mouse and touchpad , it isn't smooth especially when I use my browsers and I want to scroll web pages , it is more annoying (like when your memory RAM is full and you want to move your mouse and you see it's not smooth , in this case I don't have memory problem but the result is almost the same !!) sorry if I can't explain better and clear enough @Pilot6
