Troubleshooting Samba
I have ubuntu server LTS 18.xx VMware VM that is having HDD drive issues but samba works with requisite smb.conf file, I can read/write files to/from Windows 10 host. I created an additional VM correcting the disk capacity issue, however samba does not work. I see folders but cannot read/write files, pretty much cannot get past the windows 10 user/password login for the ubuntu VM. I can ssh to both VM hosts fine. Still very green linux user. Is the issue with Windows or the second linux host?
Thanks,
Ron
