How to configure Vino for both local and remote?

I got Vino working in 18.04, displaying local desktop in remote session, just by following instructions. Also managed to get headless remote session using dummy display driver, enabling scaling. However after that local desktop didn't have mouse nor keyboard working any more. They were redefined in xorg.conf file for remote dummy session. Removing the .conf file by renaming it and rebooting didn't solve the problem, mouse and keyboard are still missing in local desktop. Reinstalled from scratch but there seems to be no default configuration created in installation, so there is nothing to copy to conf file for "original" setup.
Where to find the "original", e.g. after installation setup or is here a smarter way round? Xorg seems to use some kind of default which it creates in installation but can it be reused or even printed?
