I can't connect to Wi-Fi in Ubuntu 18.04

I can't seem to connect to my Wi-Fi in Ubuntu 18.04. Whenever I open the Wi-Fi settings, it says "No Wi-Fi Adapter Found." I want to connect to my wireless network. I also don't have any Wi-Fi settings at the top bar.
Any help please?
