Replace Openbox by Ubuntu and install it alongside a existing Windows 10 without data loss [on hold]
I currently have Openbox and Windows 10 on my laptop, but I want to switch from Openbox to Ubuntu. My question is, how can I replace Openbox by Ubuntu without losing my files stored in the Linux filesystem or do any changes at the second system which still is windows 10? I already have a bootable USB stick with Ubuntu 18.04.1. I simply need help to replace the systems only, while keeping the Linux filesystem save and alive. The rest of the installation should be no problem for me, I did that before.

Possible duplicate of How do I install Ubuntu alongside a pre-installed Windows with UEFI?. The Ubuntu installer will usually give you an option like Erase Openbox and install Ubuntu 18.04 unless there is a non-standard type of UEFI in which case follow the instructions in How to use manual partitioning during installation?
