Ubuntu boot splash changed without my permission

0

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS dual booted with Windows 8.1.

My Ubuntu boot splash changed without my knowledge. I last installed spyder3 and plank. I installed plank from Ubuntu software. But Plank didn't show icon anywhere even after reboot. So I uninstalled plank from Ubuntu software. Now it takes too much time to boot up and shutting down.

How can I solve this problem? How can I restore my default Ubuntu boot splash and speed up boot up and shutting down time?

Now my boot splash look like this.
