A single verb for 'undergoing metamorphosis'?
I'm writing a paragraph on applications of population modeling.
At the moment it reads:
We also study life cycles of migrating animals and those undergoing metamorphosis.
Are any or the following words legitimate: metamorphizing, metamorphozing or metamorphing animals ?

Any dictionary should tell you. And it appears that you want metamorphosing.

One of the few times when a physical dictionary is handy is the ability to easily see the words nearby the word you know. So, if you looked up metamorphosis, you would have probably seen the entry metamorphose near it. The Merriam-Webster entry has a section called Dictionary Entries near, which serves the same purpose.
