I tried to install gksu by running "sudo apt-get install gksu" command on terminal. But it returns -
Package gksu is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'gksu' has no installation candidate

See this link, Why don't gksu/gksudo or launching a graphical application with sudo work with Wayland?. Also if you do not use Wayland, you should use other alternatives (notgksu), as described in the link. But you needxhostonly in Wayland. It will usually work withsudo -H GUI-program-nameorpkexec GUI-program-name
