The best VoIP=software in Ubuntu

While installing again after a few years, I can not find a proper and for me understandable proram under Ubuntu to use my VoIP account (12voip)
Please infor me , I would be very happy.
I tried both Gajim, Ekiga, Empathy, Mumble, but wonder for instance which is the difference between a user acoount, an ID, Empathy also has another type of word one has to fill in.
The sip accounts under 12voip and VoIP connect are just asking for sip, account and pw.
Please, do inform me.
