Ubuntu 18.04 stopped booting
Just a day ago ubuntu stopped booting. The computer powers up but never gets to login screen. It is just a black screen hanging there. Just before this started to happen the screen in ubuntu was showing some random rectangular pixelated spots (not enough reputation to post an image). What kind of problem is this and how can I fix it? I am trying to migrate to linux and don't have many programming skills so detailed help would be appreciated.
