Unable to install Ubuntu 18.04 to dual boot with windows 10
Running the trial version from my USB 3.0 stick runs fine, but when I try to run the installer I get stuck at selecting a partition. If I hit +, -, or "change", the installer crashes and I receive the error "ubiquity crashed with TypeError in partman_dialog(): argument of type 'NoneType' is not iterable. What are some possible fixes for this?

What brand/model system? What video card/chip? Have you updated UEFI from vendor? And if SSD updated firmware. Many systems have drive set as RAID or Intel SRT, but that needs to be AHCI. But if dual booting with Windows you must install AHCI driver into Windows first.
