Ok. Let's go.

My problem is that I cannot install Ubuntu on my Laptop:

Specifications:

  • HP Pavilion Power 15 CB0001la (Model: 2017)

  • CPU: Intel Core i5 7300 HQ

  • RAM: 8 GB DDR4 2400MHz Hynix (1*8)

  • GPU: Intel HD 630 (This is used for imagen in the monitor).

  • HDD: 1TB Hitachi 32MB Caché

  • Dedicated GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 4 GB (for games and software desing)

  • Actually use: Windows 10 Education x64 (UEFI)

BIOS Settings:

  • Secure boot: Disable

  • Legacy Mode: Disable

-- Disk Partition:

For Windows

  • Windows OS (830 GB)

  • File EFI Windows (100 MB)

  • Recuperation (OEM Partition): (500 MB)

For Ubuntu:

  • root(/) Ubuntu (92 GB)

  • swap partition logic (8 GB)

I want to install Ubuntu in UEFI mode (My HDD using GPT with Partition Table), then only can install Ubuntu on UEFI.

The software to boot my USB is: Rufus 3.14 and Unetbooting.

But I have a problem in the installation, alfter to finish, a black screen appears. Image:

You know how to solve this problem?

Post-data: I read by there some of nomodeset and problems with Nvidia Drivers in Ubuntu...

With nVidia, you normally need nomodeset boot parameter ( see UEFI section on grub edit). You will need nomodeset in grub to boot live installer and after install until you install the nVidia driver. askubuntu.com/questions/162075/… Do not install nVidia driver directly from nVidia, just from Ubuntu repository or Ubuntu driver ppa. & ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2362351
