I recently installed ubuntu on my computer and left it alone for a while. When i came back, it already showed the ubuntu login page. I didnt type any password so i looked up a fix. The web said just press enter, so i did. When i pressed the enter key, the password box and the unlock button dimmed for 3 second, then went back to its original light. It didnt say “Unlock failed” or anything like that, but just went back to thr image below. Also i cant exit the ubuntu login page whatsoever. Thanks for your help! (I run ubuntu kde btw) https://i.stack.imgur.com/NSXif.jpg

When it was installed, a username and password were set. You need to type the password you used during install (in the field just below where you entered your username, you were asked to enter the password twice - this is the password it requires).

You've added that you use ubuntu kde - does that mean you've addedkubuntu-desktop
to your Ubuntu desktop? (in which case what release, and did you change display-manager?) or are you using Kubuntu? (if so which release).
