Why do we always seem to get these types of questions about disparaging language on Saturday nights?

You don't need to be profane to be disparaging. "Joker" is a good gender neutral word which implies the other person can't be serious. Blowing someone off can cut worse than an insult. "Less misogynistic" also implies you would still want to be misogynistic. I don't think you really do. However, I still like Molly Ivins's put-down of Camille Paglia, which is off-color enough I'll let you google it.

'bastard' is good, but it's also gender based really @HotLicks like aschultz says i'm looking for a gender neutral term. evil is good enough, anyways. i guess this was closed cos i'm in effect asking for your favourite insult haha
