Different icons on applications and favorites bar Ubuntu
This package has managed to use two different icons. I've looked everywhere for the thumbnail on the favorites bar (Ubuntu Dock) but is nowhere in my computer, they might be getting it from some ftp. I would like to know how to change it.
This is the .desktop
file in /usr/share/applications

Are you sure it's nowhere in your computer? Doesn't the icon appear if you search forwolfram-mathematica
in your/usr/share/icons/
,~/.icons/
, and~/.local/share/icons/
directories?

@pomsky Yes I have, I was only able to find the squared one under/usr/share/icons/
the other 2 directories doesn't exist

Strange! Not sure what's going wrong. Try adding a correctStartupWMClass
line to the.desktop
launcher following this

@pomsky Followed the instructions, nothing changed. I noticed however that the file in the/usr/share/applications/
is named "Mathematica 11" while the icon in the dock only says "Mathematica"
