I folow instruction for ubuntu 16.04. to install MiniDLNA on Ubuntu 18.04., but dont work.

https://www.htpcguides.com/install-latest-readymedia-minidlna-ubuntu/

In this way i installed it on the former ubuntu 16.04, and work.
I searched instructions for miniDLNA from the net for the current Ubuntu 18.04. but they are not clear to me. I've tried it through the ubuntu software and dont work.

So I tried to install the way I did it on Ubuntu 16.04., but it is not right. On the above instructions I stuck in "cd minidlna*" ,then at terminal I get a message that something is not good, I can not remember exatcly.

Pleace write step by step, I am dumb for using Terminal.

  • Why don't you use apt or snap to install it from a package?
