Connecting to HP printer LaserJet 200 color MFP M276
Trying to connect on 16.04LTS.
When searching through GUI interface I can see this HP Printer in the list
But cannot choose different connection than the IPP (which does not work)
I cannot ping the printer nor can I search with it's IP directly.
How come the system can see the printer in the list, but cannot connect to it?

Can you provide some error message from trying make the IPP to work?

can you try installing hplip as described here : bernaerts.dyndns.org/linux/74-ubuntu/… and then update your question with what have you tried and what errors you get? screenshots are helpful if there's no commandline used but there are errors visible

Possible duplicate of How should I install HPLIP binary/proprietary plugin/driver for my HP printer or printer+scanner? - according to HPLIP support table you need to install HPLIP > 3.12.9 (18.04 LTS has newer version, so it is ok) and proprietary plugin for it.
