Bottom panel (taskbar) missing after enabling nVidia DRM

I am using Kubuntu 18.10. I've experienced screen tearing and animation (QML) going too fast in KDE plasma so I enabled nVidia DRM modeset with kernel parameter nvidia-drm.modeset=1. With this parameter, the tearing problem is no more and the animation (QML) is smooth again, but the bottom panel (taskbar) is gone. If I disabled this DRM feature, it will show up again.

Can I enable nVidia DRM and make the bottom panel shows up again?

Info:
This Kubuntu uses driver nvidia-drivers-390 and nVidia Prime (Intel iGPU and nVidia GT540M)
